In his interview with Jenny Boom Boom and Craig G, J. Cole announces that he is cancelling plans to release a mixtape prior to his oft-delayed debut album which comes out September 27th. Instead of a mixtape, Cole plans to release the songs that would have made the cut one by one in a weekly installment fashion. Cole's rationale for switching up his agenda is because he doesn't want fans to get stuck on a mixtape just weeks prior to his album release.
